The challenge

The client faced a multifaceted challenge when they sought to develop an innovative legal solution for exchanging cryptocurrency for fiat globally. This initiative required the creation of a seamless web and mobile application that would allow customers to exchange cryptocurrency for fiat by purchasing prepaid virtual debit cards.

However, this ambitious project was pervaded with various hurdles. Firstly, the client needed to navigate through a complex and often restrictive regulatory landscape that accompanied cryptocurrencies, particularly in jurisdictions where direct crypto-fiat exchanges were prohibited. Secondly, the client required a sophisticated and secure digital infrastructure that could support the intended web and mobile applications. With cryptocurrency transactions and international exchanges at the core of this platform, the system needed to be built with robust security features, warding off potential vulnerabilities and ensuring the privacy of users.


Lastly, the client faced the critical constraint of time. They needed to showcase the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) version of the crypto-fiat exchange solution at several major conferences around the globe, including in the USA and Portugal.

The solution

Clover Dynamics delivered a full-scale mvp of the platform supporting crypto transactions and integrated with the banking startup.


After extensive research and development, we created the perfect high-load architecture tailored to this project. Following a successful Proof of Concept (PoC), our team constructed an intricate microservice system that supported both mobile and web applications with due API documentation undergoing regular code reviews throughout the process. The Discovery Phase served as the foundation for planning out every minute detail along with corresponding user stories guaranteeing quality assurance from beginning to end.
